FIVE Star Review: Julie Rowe's Molly Gets Her Man

Title: Molly Gets Her Man
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Author: Julie Rowe
Publisher: Entangled Ignite
Pages: 163
Language: English
Format: Ebook

I was hooked from the moment that I read this title and this book didn't disappoint for a second. From the opening scene, there is conflict, action and humor woven through the pages and it flows right to end. The characters are wonderfully written with clashing personalities and just bigger-than-life personalities. The sexual tension oozes and I love the chemistry between the hero and the heroine from the first time she lays eyes on him sitting in his big truck.

The story opens with the heroine, Molly McLaren in a parking garage hiding from some bad guys. Even through the conflict, there is a humor to Miss Rowe's writing that makes it a fun read. Molly is just an awesome character. She is witty and just fun. I would want to be her friend! The hero, Grey Wilson, an ex-army guy owes Molly's brother a favor and goes to Molly's rescue and finds himself in the middle of mess and planned assassination of a US congressman. Underneath Grey's rough exterior is a wounded hero. It is difficult to write a wounded hero and still keep him alpha tough, but Miss Rowe does a wonderful job.

The plot is very interesting as Molly is an interpreter looking for work and works as a hairdresser in Las Vegas. Her ability to speak fluent Russian is what lands her life in danger when a Russian hit man comes to her chair for a cut and color and discusses killing a US congressman and taking out the Hoover Dam Running for her life leads her to traveling in an eighteen wheeler with an ex-cop. The sexual tension starts immediately from the second that Molly sees Grey and then it intensifies, in a humorous way as she accidentally lands in his lap after climbing into the big truck.

This is just a great read. I found myself on the edge of my seat and laughing at parts. I LOVE this story. And I am such a huge Molly fan! I will add Miss Rowe to my list of authors that just keeps getting longer and longer thanks to Entangled Publishing! And also a huge Canadian hug to Miss Rowe from a fellow Canuck!

I would give this book five stars because it had everything that I could ever want in a book; great writing, amazing characters that I can relate to, cheer for and fall in love (Molly and Grey totally rock), sit on the edge of your seat conflict and action, sizzling sexy scenes and humor.

Book Description:

When flaky Las Vegas hairdresser Molly McLaren overhears hears a Russian hit man planning to kill a US congressman and take out Hoover Dam in the process, she becomes a target for murder. Now, on the run from the assassin and a dirty cop, she winds up in an eighteen wheeler with an ex-cop sporting a bum leg, a bad attitude, and a body built for loving.

Grey Wilson just wanted to be left alone. No more Las Vegas. No more casinos. And no more floozy women like the one his best friend sent him to pick up on the side of the road. She talks fast, but her endless curves and sensuous nature make him want to slow down. Which is not in the cards. Grey knows he needs to unload his excess baggage. And quick.

But when someone tries to kill the Vegas beauty, Molly captures his heart with her backbone of steel, and brains to boot. Now in order to grasp the future that had once seemed impossible, Molly and Grey need to keep Hoover Dam, the congressman, and their love from being blown sky-high.
