Title: Reforming the Playboy

Pages: 162

This was a really sweet book and I enjoyed the read. I love past heart-break stories and this one had an interesting spin as it was the hero that was left behind a bitter man. This book is full of secrets and I won't be spoiling any of them for readers. All I can say is read the book because it is worth the read.

While this isn't a page turner and the beginning starts off a little slow, this is still a solidly written book. I love how alpha the hero, Max is. He's borderline a jerk, but it is relatable as old feelings are stirred up when Kira suddenly re-enters his life.  His agent is awesome and I think that she should get a book of her own in the series (wink, wink!) All the characters are larger than life characters that readers can relate too. The heroine, Kira is a girl-next-door type of heroine and one that most females can relate too.

The circumstances of Max and Kira having to be reunited are a very interesting spin. After Kira's aunt dies, she states in her will that Max must return to Passion Creek in order to stop some of his drawings of Kira from being released for auction. This is a great twist and I have never read a setup like this, so kudos to Miss Scott for coming up with something fresh and new!

The romance is a nice natural progression and the sexual chemistry is wonderfully written.  The backgrounds are solid for the characters and the conflict is concrete. The plot of this book is wonderfully and uniquely crafted. It is like no story that I have read before. The setup and details are fresh and well planned.

This story has everything in it: past heart breaks, secrets popping up everywhere, a hero that oozes alpha, a strong, but kind-hearted female and a romantic road that leads to happily-ever-after. Although at times, the story moves a little slow, it is still a good read. Hang in there past the opening chapter because the best is yet to come. I would give this book four stars and will be looking to read more of Inara Scott's writing.
