I love this book, but then again, I love Kristin Miller's writing. I am a huge fan. Her writing is edgy and engaging. Just when I think that I have read everything that the paranormal romance genre has to offer, another great Covet book comes along.
This book is a fast, easy and enjoyable read. Miss Miller's characters are always so awesome. I love the hero, playboy officer Carter and Faith is a perfectly crafted heroine. Their sexual chemistry practically sizzles off the page. From the first time that they 'meet' until the end of the book, it is sexy.
The setup is fresh and intriguing--werewolf hero, Carter needs to show the pack that he's done with his playboy ways so he enlists the help of his neighbor/friend Faith. Faith is crushing on Carter and needs money to put her brother through college, so she agrees to the sham-wedding.
This book has everything - hot sexual chemistry, sexy alpha male, danger and some laughs. It was a perfect read and my favorite summer read. I would give this five stars and won't be archiving it on my Kindle.
Book Synopsis:
Carter
Griffin, enforcing officer for the Seattle Wolf Pack, has a problem. He’s been
offered the promotion of his dreams…if he can find a wife to prove he’s over
his playboy ways. But Carter’s already walked the matrimonial road and bought
the stinkin’ T-shirt. Besides, a werewolf only gets one fated mate. Been there,
done that.
All
werewolf dog trainer Faith Hamilton wants to do is earn enough green stuff to
put her younger brother through college. Okay, okay, so she also totally wants
Carter, her sexy next-door neighbor, to look at her as more than a friend. It’s
too bad size 12 and plain isn’t his type. At all.
The two
friends strike a deal to help one another out. They must face a variety of
challenges from a psycho ex-girlfriend to a Yorkie with a shoe fetish...and
that pesky problem of only having one-fated mate in a lifetime. Will a
relationship ruin their friendship…or spark a love neither anticipated?
