REVIEW:

I am a sucker when it comes to books about crime boss families so I knew I had to read this one. It did not disappoint. This was a fast past and exciting read that perfectly fit the genre of Romantic Suspense. I couldn't tell you which aspect I liked better—the romance or the suspense. For me, this book was a perfect read.

I loved the characters. They were multi-dimensional and sensual. The heroine was the former wife of an infamous crime boss, but when her son is kidnapped she will do whatever is necessary to get him back. In comes the hero, the goodie, Law and Order, Logan Stone to help her. As they search for her son there is another plot twist as they become implicated in the kidnapping and while on the run from authorities also need to find the missing boy.

I loved the ticking clock with a 72 hour timeline. It just made it all the more exciting. I could not put this book down and had to stay up until the wee hours of the morning to finish this.

This is the first book of Miss Skaggs and I will definitely seek out anything else she writes.
