I am a huge fan of Miss Ashenden's and this book just made me love her books even more. Her characters are so vivid, that feel like they are real life people.

I loved this plot as it seems to be the norm twisted as its the heroine that leaves the hero in the past. I am a sucker for "fun" blackmail plots and this is one of the best that I've read. The conflict is revved up and the sexual tension is hot coming off the pages. I want to live in that world!
The characters are so skillfully written that they feel real. I absolutely love the characterization as the heroine, Lizzie Kent and the hero Ash. The characters are well developed and skillfully written so that the reader feel as if they are inside the skin of the characters. Lizzie is a strong heroine with a good heart. She is a heroine that female readers can sympathize with and immediately you are rooting for her. And Ash, well he's just plain sexy. I love his character and how passionate he is. These two are a match made in sexy heaven!
The writing itself, is magnificent as the deep point of view is something that writers can study (I know that I do). And the sexual tension and sizzling scenes - wow! If you are looking for a fun, sex read, then I would recommend this book. You will not be disappointed!
I would give, Hollywood Blackmail four and a half stars. It is just a great read!

Jackie has been writing fiction since she was eleven years old.
