I have been a big fan of this series, since the first book, Love for Vengeance came out in September 2013. So when the fourth, Die for Love came out I was more than excited to have the opportunity to review it. This is a Romantic Suspense featuring my favorite paranormal creature - vampires!

My book description:
Fast-paced, emotional roller coaster with twists, turns and lots of sexiness! This is a gem in the paranormal writing world - fresh!

As mentioned above, this is the fourth installment in Miss Pineiro's Vampire Reborn series and finishes many of the characters that were spotlighted in the other three books. I love the main character, FBI agent Michaela Ramirez, who is a dhamphir (half vampire, half human) and her goal of killing her father. Although I really enjoyed reading about Diana Reye, I was searching for the storyline of slayer Michaela. There was so much conflict and tension that I just ate it all up!

The world building is fresh and interesting. I liked the take on the old vampire transformation, with a new twist of the Slayer Council restricting the turning of humans into vampires without a consequence of death. This series featured vampires, shifters, half-breeds and slayers.

The characters were amazingly written, the internal and external conflict so strong. I loved the entire cast of characters in this series, my favorite being Michaela. Each of the characters were brilliantly crafted so that they jumped off the page and yanked on your heart strings.

The plot was fast-paced and a really easy read because I couldn't seem to put the book down. I read this book in a day, finding every chance that I could to sneak in a chapter or two...or three. The entire series is like this. I loved the romance all woven into everything. It was just a brilliantly written book that I have recommended to many.

As for the pros and cons of this book, there are so many pros, the characters, world building, romance, writing and I could keep going on and on. The only con? Waiting for the next one to come out.

I would give this book and the entire series, five stars.

* I received this ARC from the publisher for an honest, unbiased review. *

Book 2 of Reborn Series
Born to Love…
Five years ago, vampire Ryder Latimer stepped into the path of a bullet meant for FBI Agent Diana Reyes, at once saving her life and condemning her to death when his blood contaminates her open wounds. Now only an experimental treatment, transfusions, and allowing Ryder to sink his teeth into her when they make love keep her alive.
Born to Survive…
Ryder has always known that no matter what they try, Diana can’t possibly survive what contact with his blood did to her. The reality for him is that no matter how much he loves her, he will lose her if he doesn’t turn her—a choice Diana may have put off for too long.
Born to Serve…
Even as her health continues to deteriorate and they battle with that difficult decision, Diana tracks a serial killer targeting their vampire friends. It’s a dangerous job, but she was born to it and, with Ryder’s help, she’ll serve and protect until the day she dies—or until a miracle turns their world upside down.

Book 1 of Reborn Series
FBI Special Agent Helene Alexander is a goddess. An actual frickin’ goddess. And her mission is clear, see that justice is served at all times or her days as a goddess are numbered.
Helene’s new FBI partner defines good-looking, but Miguel Sanchez, wants nothing to do with her ends-justify-the-means attitude. He knows through experience the type of guilt her actions can bring and Miguel wants nothing to do with Helene’s careless ways. Even if she’s so damned hot she makes him burn with the need.
When the serial killer they’re tracking strikes again, Helene and Miguel are drawn into a case that will challenge their most fundamental beliefs about justice and vengeance. But it’s the passion between them that forces a goddess to choose: eternal life with all her powers…or death—to save the man she loves.
