Miss McLaughlin has a way of creating these characters that manage to stick around long after you finished her books. I loved both the hero, Austin Murphy and heroine MacKenzie Forbes. I really connected with Mackenzie and thought that she was so well written. I also thought that Austin was nearly the perfect man. The way that Miss McLaughlin writes in character just jumps off the page and the characters seem like real everyday people that you meet.
The plot was sweet, America's Sweetheart wants to lose her virginity but every time it almost happens, she gets tagged with a bad reputation of sleeping around.
This is just a cute read. I read it in one night - in one sitting because I couldn't put the darn book down. When I get a new Jen McLaughlin book, I never start it late at night because I am already sleep deprived without staying up even later to read more and more.
I have to give this book five stars. It was a cleverly written plot, awesome characters and steamy sex scenes. This is a great read!
